மத நிந்தனையை முஸ்லிம் கவுன்சில் கடுமையாக கண்டித்துள்ளது

பெளத்த மதத்தையும், புத்தரையும்  அவமதிக்கும் வகையில் யூடியூபில் பதிவேற்றம் செய்யப்பட்டிருந்ததாக தெரிவிக்கப் படும் ஸ்ரீலங்கா தௌஹீத் ஜமாத்தின் (அறிக்கை )

வீடியோ விற்கு முஸ்லிம் கவுன்சில்  தனது  கண்டனத்தை தெரிவித்துள்ளது.

எந்த மதத்தையும்  அல்லது நம்பிக்கையும் தூஷிப்பதை நாம் வன்மையாக  கண்டிக்கிறோம்.  சமீப காலமாக  இஸ்லாம் பெளத்த பிக்குகள் உட்பட பலாரால்  நிந்திக்கப்படுவது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.

யாரும் ஏனைய மதத்தையும் தூற்றுவதற்கோ விமர்சனம் செய்தவற்கோ உரிமையில்லை.இஸ்லாமை பொறுத்தவரை, அது பொறுமையையும் சகிப்புத்தன்மையையும் வலியுறுத்துகிறது. அத்துடன் எந்த முஸ்லிமும் வேறு மதத்தை தூற்றுவதற்கு இஸ்லாம் அனுமதியளிக்கவில்லை.

இலங்கை பல்லின நாடு என்ற வகையில் அங்கு பல நூற்றுக்கணக்கான வருடங்களாக அனைத்து மதத்தினரும் பரஸ்பர மரியாதை மற்றும் கலாசார விழுமியங்களுடன் வாழ்ந்து வருகின்றனர். எனவே இதனை மீறிச்செயற்படுவோர் கைது செய்யப்பட்டு சட்டத்தின் முன்னால் நிறுத்தப்பட வேண்டும் என்று இலங்கை முஸ்லிம் கவுன்சில் கோரியுள்ளது.

The Muslim council of Sri Lanka  vehemently condemns anyone blaspheming any religion or faith. It noted that in recent times Islam has been blasphemed by many including Buddhist monks.

Attention has also been brought to a video uploaded on to YOUTUBE in June 2013 where one Mr. Razeek has blasphemed Lord Buddha and Buddhism. We once again condemn these acts of religious sacrilege without any reservation and call upon the authorities to take action against anyone infringing on the rights of religious, ethnic or civic groups

The Muslim Council of Sri Lanka says Islam is a religion of peace and tolerance and does not permit any Muslim to blaspheme any religion.

Sri Lankans have had mutual respect, tolerance and understanding of each other’s religions and cultural practices for hundreds of years. Since of late, we see religious groups targeting each other with unsubstantiated charges that have exasperated our long standing commitment towards co-existence the disturbing trend needs to be arrested immediately and the status quo re-established .

 we call upon the Government and law enforcement authorities to enforce the law without prejudice and fear or favour to any religion or authority.
